Reheating
Water-bath + Crisping Instructions
- For best results, prior to re-heating defrost product and keep chilled at 1-5°c.
- Heat water to simmer 95°c. Pre heat Grill or Oven to 180-200°c.
- Place rib pouch in simmering water for 12 minutes + Sauce for final 3 mins.
- Remove rib from pouch & reserve excess juices keeping to one side. Place rib on baking tray and crisp under grill for 4 mins or crisp in oven for 4 mins.
- Ensure that product reaches a core temperature of 72°c. (Piping hot)
- Serve immediately once crisped. Mix the sauce & retained juices then pour over Rib.
Microwave + Crisping Instructions
- For best results, prior to cooking defrost product and keep chilled at 1-5°c.
- Before reheating Pre heat Grill or Oven to 180-200°c, then snip a corner of the pouch and stand pouch upright in a bowl or dish.
- Reheat rib in pouch in an 800 watt microwave for 6 mins then 1 min + 15 secs for sauce.
- Leave product to stand for 30 seconds.
- Ensure that product reaches a core temperature of 72°c before serving. (Piping hot)
- Remove rib from pouch & reserve excess juices keeping to one side. Place rib on baking tray and crisp under grill for 4 mins or crisp in oven for 4 mins.
- Serve immediately after reheating and pour sauce and retained juices over Rib.
